Joe Durham Inspires Young Fishermen with Miracle in the Woods
Atlanta, Georgia (PRWEB) July 10, 2023 -- Joe Durham, a prominent personal injury attorney in Albany, Georgia, teamed up with the Miracle in the Woods Foundation to provide fishing rods for special needs youth that show an interest in fishing and the outdoors. While Joe supports many charitable organizations, this donation is special because it reminds him of fishing with his children.
“I’m always proud to give back to the community,” shared Joe in a recent interview. “But as a dad, being part of what Miracle in the Woods is doing feels especially good. I love the great outdoors and have many memories of fishing with my kids.”
The Miracle in The Woods Foundation’s first annual fishing derby, called “Fishing for a Miracle,” is scheduled for July 15, 2023, from 10 am to 1 pm at Kiep Farms in Leesburg, Georgia. There are 25 fishing slots with prizes for the biggest fish, the most fish caught, the most fun award, and more. The event will also have bounce houses and a petting zoo for kids. Chick-Fil-A will cater lunch.
“Huge shout out and thank you to Joe Durham and his law firm for donating 10 brand new fishing rods for our competitors,” shared Jamie Kiep, a co-founder of Miracle in the Woods with his wife Bethany.
Anyone with a special needs child that is interested in participating in this inaugural fishing event can register directly on the organization’s website at https://mitwfoundation.org/.
