The Gala will bring a glamorous evening filled with comedy, special performances, and inspirational stories, while offering opportunities to aid victims of abuse in the South Asian Community, one of the fastest growing ethnic groups in the country.
“Every year, the gala is an amazing opportunity for the South Asian Community to come together, enjoy a fun-filled evening, and be able to give back to those who we support”, said Executive Director, Marilyn Neece. “For 27 years, we have been able to provide support to victims of abuse, the elderly, our youth, and the entire South Asian Community from the funds we receive through our yearly gala. It truly is an inspirational event.”
The 27th Annual Gala will feature comedian, Rajiv Satyal as its emcee. Having opened for comedian Dave Chapelle and Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Rajiv will be sure to bring an evening filled with non-stop laughs and entertainment. The evening will start with a social cocktail hour and silent auction, where attendees can bid on an array of special packages and unique items with all proceeds going to support SAHARA’s life-changing programs.
