Leadership Council on Legal Diversity Recognizes 3 Greenberg Traurig Attorneys
Rene Treviño Named 2021 Fellow; Candace Uduebor, Glenn Thompson Named 2021 Pathfinders
NEW YORK, Feb. 24, 2021 /PRNewswire-PRWeb/ -- The Leadership Council on Legal Diversity (LCLD) has recognized three attorneys from global law firm Greenberg Traurig, LLP as part of its Fellows and Pathfinders programs. Shareholder Rene A. Treviño has been named a 2021 Fellow and Associates Candace H. Uduebor and Glenn J. Thompson have been named 2021 Pathfinders by the LCLD.
The LCLD Fellows Program provides professional and personal development opportunities for diverse, talented, mid-career attorneys at LCLD member organizations. The Pathfinder Program serves a similar purpose for early-career attorneys.
Treviño, based in the firm's Houston office, focuses his practice on commercial and patent litigation involving a wide range of technologies, including computer hardware and application software, medical devices, and pharmaceutical products. He manages complex litigation matters through trial and appeal. Additionally, Treviño appears among The Best Lawyers in America for Patent Law editions from 2017 through 2021.
Uduebor is based in the firm's Denver office. She focuses her practice on counseling clients towards achieving and maintaining environmental and regulatory compliance at the federal, state, and local levels. She has experience guiding companies through litigation, permitting, auditing, and state and federal agency enforcement matters. Uduebor has assisted in the representation of oil and natural gas interests during environmental rule-making proceedings and challenges and works to minimize environmental liability risk for purchasers during asset acquisitions. Her practice also includes the representation of manufacturers in class action products liability and toxic tort litigation. Uduebor is a member of the American Bar Association's Section of Environment, Energy, and Resources and is involved with multiple community organizations in Denver.
Thompson, based in the firm's Delaware office, focuses his practice on corporate matters involving Delaware corporations, limited liability companies, and limited partnerships. He works with buyers and sellers in negotiating acquisitions and divestitures, handles asset and stock sales, equity security offerings, conversions, and the structuring and operation of private equity funds and joint ventures. Thompson has experience representing clients in corporate and commercial matters in the Delaware Court of Chancery. He was listed among The National Black Lawyers' "Top 40 Under 40" in 2020, is a member of the Delaware Barristers Association, and is a Fellow of the American Bar Association's Business Law Section.
