MTM Technologies Expands Role of CIO Greg Turner to Chief Revenue Officer
PURCHASE, N.Y. (PRWEB) April 03, 2019 -- MTM Technologies (https://mtm.com) announces the appointment of Chief Information Officer (CIO) Gregory J. Turner to the expanded role of Chief Revenue Officer (CRO). This move aligns with the company’s direction of steering the organization to a more customer-centric, services-led provider in servicing MTM customers as they navigate through the different disruptions in the marketplace. This transformative approach further strengthens the shift from an IT solutions provider traditionally focused on merely delivering technology to a business-solutions consultative methodology fit for real-world customer challenges. Turner’s in-depth technical know-how and expertise as CIO, and his extensive experience in selling and delivering complex business solutions, absolutely reinforces the company’s listen-first culture in understanding business needs, which will drive customer-first solutions that will favor customer-desired business outcomes.
“At MTM, we are first and foremost consultants to our clients, working with them to understand their business needs and the best way technology can help them meet those needs,” says Turner. “We also help them anticipate the kinds of transformative IT solutions that are on their horizon as well as the resources they will need to implement those solutions. My new role allows me to see from two lenses where I can provide both strategic and tactical guidance - helping guide our team in providing MTM’s unique brand of customer-first consultative methodology to arrive at outcome-based solutions as well as addressing the best ways to deliver these solutions cost-effectively.”
Turner currently leads the internal technology team at MTM Technologies and will now be responsible for driving and directing the pre-sales solutions, marketing, sales, and post-sales organizations. His goal is to develop repeatable processes that yield predictable outcomes for clients as well as for MTM.
“I am both a customer and a sales resource in this new role,” notes Turner. “This is a win for clients who want to work with someone who is in the same function and understands the challenges they face. I will marshal all of MTM’s resources and innovation to best support our customers.”
Turner is no stranger to selling and delivering solutions to clients. In earlier roles, Turner has led IT innovation across many industries. Before joining MTM Technologies, he served as Administrative Director and Chief Operating Officer for Millennium Collaborative Care which led the Delivery Services Reform and Incentive Payment (DSRIP) program for the state of New York. Before that, Turner served in several IT leadership roles in the construction, healthcare and technology industries as well as county government. He also provided consulting direction and support for multiple industries while serving in senior roles with MCI Systemhouse and PWC.
Turner holds both Master’s and Bachelor of Arts degrees in Economics from the University of Pennsylvania and pursued doctoral studies in Economics at the University of Rochester where he focused on the creation of a heuristic computer application and economic forecasting tool to forecast market reactions through adaptive learning of economic events.
