New Video Demonstrates TurnKey™ Glass Wall-Cladding System’s Ease of Installation
NEW YORK (PRWEB) October 16, 2018 -- Bendheim releases a step-by-step installation video for its new cost-saving, quick-assembly TurnKey™ interior wall cladding system. The recently-introduced glass system is inspired by the need for engineered solutions to speed the fabrication and installation of decorative architectural glass walls.
The 3D animation, developed by Bendheim’s technical design team, shows the steps necessary to install a floor-to-ceiling paneled glass wall using the patented TurnKey channels and glass-gripping keys. The modular TurnKey system can be used to clad interior walls of any size, including walls with complex geometries. Panel sizes are determined by the desired aesthetic, as well as potential deflection conditions. The glass thickness can be increased to address deflection, and additional keys can be added to support larger pieces of glass.
“This is Bendheim’s first system directly inspired through our work with glazing contractors. It generates real savings in both labor time and costs,” said Said Elieh, Director of Technical Design for Bendheim. “We prototyped several solutions to develop TurnKey, and we made installation faster and simpler with each step.”
TurnKey is a fully mechanical glass attachment system that adjusts easily on site. There is no need for mounting the glass on honeycomb, plywood, or Z-clips, no VHB tapes, silicone, costly glass drilling, or additional fabrication required. The safety tempered or laminated Bendheim glass is delivered fully fabricated and ready to install in the powder-coated TurnKey channels and keys. Easy-to-use integrated LED lighting is also available for back-lit applications.
TurnKey accepts all Bendheim glass varieties: from the company’s colorful HardShell® back-painted glass to its exclusive mouth-blown Lamberts® art glass. The system is warranted for 10 years. For more information, please visit bendheim.com/system_product/turnkey-fittings.
