The 2020 New American Home
The New American Home is located in the Ascaya community on the outskirts of Las Vegas. The home features a desert oasis-inspired single-level, 7,683-square-foot floor plan highlighting the latest in home building innovations. The design-build team from Sun West Custom Homes used the Lyra Ripiano Stone Veneer from Environmental StoneWorks to help achieve a tranquil, calming feel in a desert contemporary style architecture. The fresh, stair-edged profile of Ripiano Stone Veneer is designed to eliminate seams often seen with single-stone applications. The clean lines and beautiful color options enhance the look of an interior or exterior project while incorporating natural-looking, modern aesthetics.
The 2020 New American Remodel
The New American Remodel, located in a charming, well-established equestrian community in Las Vegas and renovated by Element Building Company and Architecture by Phil Kean, is a 1970s home, transformed by modern day products and building techniques. The original 2,170-square-foot one-level home has expanded into a two-story masterpiece totaling 7,521 square feet.
Featured in the remodel are MIRA® Aluminum-Clad Wood Windows and MaxView Sliding Patio Doors, both from Ply Gem Windows & Doors, which offer expansive views and increased natural light to connect indoor and outdoor living areas for an open concept experience like no other.
