Mochidoki's Amazon Fresh launch will allow customers to check out with lower order minimums and expedited delivery times. The partnership comes on the heels of Mochidoki's recent retail expansions in New York's Citarella, Morton Williams and Westside Market, Central Market in Texas and select H Mart locations.
From 2020 to 2022, Mochidoki more than doubled the number of mochi ice cream pieces sold, at 5 million, while the mochi ice cream category as a whole saw a 60% increase in demand from 2021 to 2022. With a loyal contingent of fans, returning buyers makeup over 50% of Mochidoki's customer base.
