RAPID CITY, S.D., May 8, 2020 /PRNewswire-PRWeb/ -- RESPEC, a consulting company that specializes in mining, energy, water, environment, and technology, announced the acquisition of PDC Engineers (PDC) (Fairbanks, AK). PDC provides all facets of engineering services in the horizontal and vertical infrastructure markets. The move brings together two 100% ESOP companies with more than 110 years of combined industry experience and combined revenues of $80M.
With business interests dating back to 1953, PDC is a multidisciplinary consulting and design company that provides services to the facilities, transportation, land development, and utilities markets. PDC serves a variety of industries with a portfolio of clients that include federal, state, and local government entities as well as privately owned organizations. The company specializes in design services in extreme environments such as in the Artic, Antarctic, and military applications. By joining forces, RESPEC and PDC offer advanced knowledge in the Mining & Energy, Water & Environment, Data & Technology Solutions, and now Infrastructure sectors.
RESPEC and PDC will operate from 20 offices in 14 states and two Canadian provinces and employ more than 450 technical professionals. The combined entities will continue to do business as a 100% employee-owned company.
