Riverbend Timber Framing Honored with National Design Award
BALA presents Riverbend Timber Framing with a Gold Award for International Housing for their Revelstoke Timber Home.
BLISSFIELD, Mich., Jan. 27, 2020 /PRNewswire-PRWeb/ -- Custom home designer and builder Riverbend Timber Framing received a 2019 Best in American Living™ Award (BALA) presented by the National Association of Home Builders (NAHB). Awards were announced at the NAHB International Builders' Show in Las Vegas on January 22, 2018.
BALA presented Riverbend Timber Framing with a Gold Award for International Housing for their Revelstoke Timber Home.
The home was designed by the Riverbend Design Group, the in-house architectural design firm of Riverbend Timber Framing. Riverbend also fabricated and installed the timber materials.
The Revelstoke Timber Home is a 3,726-square-foot home designed to fit with the character of the growing resort town of Revelstoke, British Columbia. Timber framing adds a rustic appeal to the exterior of the home, while the interior of the home is contemporary and open with a direct connection to nature via the warm timbers.
"The Best in American Living Awards believe that 'A great home starts with great design.' These awards reflect the talent and dedication of our world class designers, as we continue to exceed our clients' expectations with beautiful designs that define Riverbend Timber Framing as a leader in the timber frame industry," said President James Banner.
Now in its 36th year, BALA recognizes outstanding achievement by builders and design professionals in all sectors of the residential housing industry including single-family production, custom, multifamily, affordable, remodeling, community and interiors. BALA is built on the principle that all great homes start with great design, no matter cost or size.
Buying a home is often the most significant purchase people will make in their lifetime, and BALA winners spotlight what building industry professionals need to know to set their project apart and hit the right mark with today's highly educated and discerning home buyers.
