SelectHub Announces Its Software Awards for Teams, Not Companies
DENVER (PRWEB) December 18, 2018 -- Technology selection and research company SelectHub, a two-time Inc. 500 honoree, will introduce the SelectHub Software Awards. Awarded to product teams rather than vendors as a whole, the program highlights excellent innovation and the people responsible for it.
Keith Hagen, VP of Marketing at SelectHub, says, “After years of analyzing, we realized it was time the people behind the best software were recognized. With these awards, we hope to provide end users with a true and accurate perspective of where excellence in software comes from and about the teams that got it there.”
Hagen emphasized that the awards will showcase each recipient’s strengths, whether they be in certain features or user-friendliness. In addition, he says they will present which vendors truly deliver the software their users need.
The SelectHub Software Awards — the first awards program developed by the company — will determine recipients based on both quantifiable and qualifiable factors to ensure winners are based on merit alone. The criteria used include user reviews, data from their proprietary technology selection management platform and ratings determined by their in-house analyst team.
Hagen went on to explain that the SelectHub Software Awards seek to be fully independent and, therefore, the company won’t accept applications or nominations. This also means that vendors won’t be able to pay to receive consideration.
The first software category to receive awards will be business intelligence. Throughout 2019, the awards program will expand to other popular categories of enterprise software.
Examples of the SelectHub Software Awards include “Analysts’ Pick,” “Best in Class” for various features, “Best Value” and “Most Shortlisted.”
