The TASC Group Wins 2019 PR News' Nonprofit Award for Crisis Management
This Honor Marks the Agency's Sixth Crisis Communications Award in the Past Five Years
NEW YORK, March 29, 2019 /PRNewswire-PRWeb/ -- On March 15th, The TASC Group, a New York City-based, full service public relations and communications firm dedicated to advancing mission-driven organizations, won the PR News' Nonprofit Award for best Crisis Management campaign for its crisis and advocacy communications work with the organization Yeshivat Maharat. Yeshivat Maharat hired The TASC Group to help protect the role of female Rabbis (Rabbas) within the Orthodox Jewish community and put pressure on the Orthodox Union not to expel the Rabbas currently serving in shuls and synagogues around the country. The PR News' CSR & Nonprofit Awards Luncheon annually recognizes and celebrates "the communicators that work hard to make the world a better place."
"We are extremely humbled to have won this award from PR News," said Larry Kopp, President & CEO of The TASC Group. "It's truly a testament to the extraordinary clients we work with, who fight every day for their communities and promote programs and projects that make a difference. It's been a privilege to partner with Yeshivat Maharat and play a small role in the work it does."

This included three Big Apple Awards in Crisis Communications in 2018, 2017, and 2014; a Big Apple Award in Crisis Communications for Business in 2017; and a Silver Anvil Award of Excellence in Crisis Communications in 2014.
