Trident Systems Director of Electronic Systems Engineering Group Promoted to Vice President of Electronic Systems
FAIRFAX, Va. (PRWEB) April 02, 2019 -- Trident Systems in pleased to announce the promotion of Dan Hibbard from Director of the Electronic Systems Engineering Group (ESEG) to Vice President of Electronic Systems (ES). In this role, Dan will be responsible for the strategic direction of the ES group with particular emphasis on its growing national security practice.
Dan has been with Trident Systems since December of 2009, when he joined the company as a Radio Frequency (RF) Engineer. Since then, he has held the positions of Senior RF Engineer and Project Manager, before being promoted to Director of ESEG in 2014. Previously, Dan worked at Raytheon as a Senior Electrical Engineer. Dan is a graduate of Virginia Tech and holds both a bachelors and masters degree in electrical engineering.
“For the last 5 years as the Director of ESEG, Dan has overseen the delivery of Tridents first space qualified payload electrical unit, and was instrumental in tripling the revenue of the group over a 3 year period,” said John Broglio, the Executive Vice President of Operations at Trident. “In his new position, Dan will oversee all of the engineering and business development activities.
