Village Dermatology Adds Another Board-Certified Dermatologist to their team
Local dermatology practice in Birmingham, AL, continues to expand its dermatology coverage for the community.

Dr. Julia Tauscher is a board-certified dermatologist passionate about cosmetic, medical, and surgical dermatology. Originally from the area, Dr. Tauscher has returned home to Mountain Brook to expand Village Dermatology's care to patients in the Birmingham area. Dr. Tauscher earned her medical degree at the University Of Alabama School Of Medicine and was inducted into the prestigious Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Society and awarded "Best in Surgery." She then completed her dermatology residency at the University of Rochester, serving as the Resident Cosmetics Chair.

Moreover, she has been a thought leader within the dermatology field, speaking at national conferences, including the AAD and annual ASDS meeting, plus publishing her work in prestigious medical journals like the American Academy of Dermatology and JAMA Dermatology.
Dr. Tauscher enjoys spending time with her husband and family, exercising, learning about estate jewelry, and traveling in her spare time.
