Wesley Bradley Park Nears Opening as They Welcome First Campus Administrator
DES MOINES, Wash. (PRWEB) February 05, 2019 -- Not-for-profit Wesley retirement communities and home health services welcomes Thomas C. (TC) Fraser as the new administrator for Wesley Bradley Park in Puyallup, Washington.
As the inaugural campus administrator, Fraser oversees the brand new, 14-acre senior community on South Hill. The campus consists of a Brownstone with 32 apartments and the Lodge with 166 apartments: 99 independent living, 17 memory care and 50 Catered Living apartments, which are similar to assisted living. The community is projected to fully open in May of 2019. The Brownstone opened in July 2018.
Originally from South Dakota, Fraser has a master’s in Business Administration with a focus in healthcare and holistic and spiritual wellness from the University of Sioux Falls.
Once Wesley began searching for an administrator, a mutual professional friend introduced Fraser and Wesley President and CEO Kevin Anderson. On their first meeting, Anderson took Fraser to all three Wesley communities in Des Moines, Auburn and Puyallup.
“I wanted to make sure TC had a full understanding of what Wesley is accomplishing, the vision for the organization,” said Anderson. “I wanted him to see how important Puyallup is in our mission to serve older adults. It was evident the moment I met him that he would be a good fit.”
Fraser, who was visiting the Seattle area from Tennessee, would be leaving a retirement community that received a five-star rating two years in a row.
“Wesley’s mission is near and dear to my heart,” said Fraser. “It’s a Christian organization caring for older people, and the genuine and caring spirit I saw in Kevin is something that I greatly respect and continually strive to have as a leader. After praying on it, my wife and I decided to make the move to the Pacific Northwest.”
Fraser’s path in senior care began when he was a child. His mother was a nurse and a nursing home administrator. He didn’t realize it back then, but he now recognizes that his mother instilled in him an appreciation for seniors.
For February, Fraser’s goal is to begin to fill key positions for the campus. He looks forward to building his team and growing with them as a community to serve the residents and the Puyallup area.
