‘Sometimes I Feel Blue’ gets new marketing push
TOPSFIELD, Mass. (PRWEB) October 06, 2016 -- Author Margi Smith thinks that in today’s electronic world, children are not being given enough time to open up and discuss how they feel. This perception inspired her to write “Sometimes I Feel Blue - A Book about Expressing Your Feelings” (published by AuthorHouse).
In this illustrated children’s guidebook, a little girl named Stella who likes to color her feelings explores how children can express themselves to others through a variety of activities like a song or dance, a belly laugh or even by drawing a picture. Children will be able to laugh and draw along while they explore new ways to express their feelings each time they read along. The last page encourages readers to examine their own feelings with a statement that reads: “Today I feel…”
“This book will be extremely useful in classrooms with children going through difficult and emotional times as well as families who have sat down and read this book to their children to open up and share their feelings,” Smith says. “This is a useful reading and discussion tool with kids from 3-8 years old as well as those who have special issues and difficulties expressing their feelings and emotions.”
“Sometimes I Feel Blue” hopes to make readers realize that a child’s emotional intelligence is extremely critical to their development into a healthy adult that is why it is very important to identify and express their feelings creatively and effectively to those around them.
