‘Struggling’ Musicians Set to Gain Financial Support
(PRWEB UK) 26 September 2013 -- Normans Musical Instruments, a retailer in Burton-Upon-Trent, is set to launch a new interest-free credit scheme on the 1st October 2013 in a bid to help young musicians. Established in 1959, Normans are regarded by many as the leading supplier of musical instruments and accessories in the UK, and it is arguably their status as a well-known supplier which has led them to launch their new credit scheme which is set to offer financial support to musicians in what is widely regarded as a ‘struggling’ economic climate.
In 2011, it was reported that the economic climate was responsible for a 15% drop in store sales across the UK (Source: The Portas Review), while a recent report by Retail Research forecasts an increase in 2014 it is as small as 1.2%-1.4% (Source: The Retail Research). While this clearly outlines the difficulties from the perspective of a business it is evident from these reports that the economic climate has had a similarly adverse effect on the UK as a whole.
It is in response to the current economic climate that Normans have decided to launch their new credit scheme as Hayley Walker, Sales Office Manager explains: “The economic climate has affected the music industry in more ways than one, with many musicians struggling to progress with their hobby or advance with their musical achievements due to financial restraints. It’s for this reason why Normans have decided to help musicians by offering a credit scheme which is available to anyone in the UK. We really hope that this scheme will help musicians across the UK”
It is evident from this statement that Normans have launched their new credit scheme in direct response to the current economic climate, ensuring that quality musical instruments remain accessible to all. The credit scheme which is soon to be available is a 9 month scheme which requires a 10% deposit and is interest-free. The scheme is available to anyone within the UK, providing that they pass the credit checks.
With the launch of the new credit scheme, Normans hope to alleviate the financial worry often associated with Christmas and provide financial support to many musicians across the UK.
Normans are a highly respected and well-established supplier of quality musical instrument across the UK and worldwide. For details on the type of musical instruments available on the scheme please visit their website or contact them.
