Adrift Adventures Offers Discounted Green River Rafting Trip in Utah
Jensen, Utah (PRWEB) June 10, 2014 -- Adrift Adventures, a wilderness river rafting company in Dinosaur National Monument, announces $300 discounted adult rates on four-day Green River rafting trip through Gates of Lodore July 4 - 7, 2014.
The regular adult rate is $785.00 per person for this four-day wilderness raft trip in Dinosaur National Monument, but with the $300 discount it averages $482.00 per person including river use fees, according to Jenny Biggs, general manager, Adrift Adventures.
“This is an all-inclusive multi-day raft trip through road-less wilderness,” Biggs said. “We had a launch date open late in the booking season, so we wanted to offer an awesome deal to fill up the trip.“
This four-day Green River raft trip meanders 44 miles starting at Gates of Lodore in northwest Colorado and ending at Split Mountain Campground in northeast Utah, according to Biggs.
“The Green River offers great scenery and fun whitewater,” Biggs explained. “You will also learn about the rich history of the area, which includes dinosaurs, Native Americans, outlaws and famous explorers like John Wesley Powell.”
All Adrift Adventures rafting trips in Dinosaur National Monument include catered meals, group camping equipment, personal rafting gear, large dry bags, transportation to and from the river, and entrance to the Dinosaur Quarry after the trip, according to Travis Hochard, operations manager, Adrift Adventures.
“There are no roads near the river on this wilderness rafting expedition, so all food and gear will be packed on rafts and brought to a remote camp each night,” Hochard explained.
Adrift Adventures has provided fully guided raft trips in Dinosaur National Monument since 1980. Choose from one-day and four-day Green River Raft trips; and five-day Yampa River raft trips. Daily rafting trips are offered mid-May – Labor Day.
