Advanced Dermatology and Cosmetic Surgery, (ADCS Clinics) Announces the Acquisition of Dermatology Associates PC
Maitland, Florida (PRWEB) May 04, 2016 -- ADCS Clinics (“ADCS”) announced it has completed the acquisition of Dermatology Associates PC in White Oak, Pennsylvania; a dermatology practice owned by Lawrence M. Stokar, M.D., a double board certified in Dermatology and Internal Medicine.
Dr. Lawrence Stokar was born and raised in Oceanside, N.Y. and then graduated with a B.A. in Biology at SUNY (Buffalo). After college on to the Chicago Medical School now called the Rosalind Franklin University where he graduated in 1981 after receiving his M.D. degree. Dr. Stokar completed a residency in Internal Medicine at the Albert Einstein Hospital in Philadelphia and become board certified in Internal Medicine in 1984. He subsequently moved to Pittsburgh where he was Chief Resident in Dermatology and completed a residency in Dermatology becoming board certified in Dermatology in 1987. Since that time he has been in private practice in Dermatology focusing on skin cancer and medical dermatology. He teaches residents from the UPMC Medical center. He is an active member of the American Academy of Dermatology, Pittsburgh and Pennsylvania Academies of Dermatology as well as the Noah Worcester Dermatological Society.
