AI Leader attends OSAC Central American Regional Workshop
Los Angeles, CA (PRWEB) March 18, 2015 -- This month, Andrews International (AI), an affiliate of U.S. Security Associates (USA), will be participating in the 10th Annual OSAC Central American Regional Conference on Corporate Security hosted by the Overseas Security Advisory Council (OSAC) Guatemala and the American-Guatemalan Chamber of Commerce. Established to promote security cooperation between the U.S. Department of State and American private sector companies operating abroad, OSAC hosts events across the globe to facilitate the sharing of best practices and for developing tools to combat security-related challenges and issues abroad. As a security company serving many clients with overseas operations and concerns, AI has a vested interest in taking advantage of the knowledge sharing opportunities provided by OSAC.
Thomas Cseh, the AI Deputy Director, Mexico, will be contributing his knowledge in several round-table discussions at the Central American Regional Conference in Antigua Guatemala, Guatemala, from March 19th through 20th. Cseh, an OSAC member and Mexico Associate for the U.S. Embassy, has more than 35 years hands-on experience in criminal, fraud, and counterintelligence operations in the United States and overseas. With three decades of practical experience in dealing with management operations, including labor relations and contract security, in both friendly and hostile environments overseas, Cseh is an accomplished liaison officer with U.S. and foreign law enforcement, security, and intelligence agencies.
Cseh notes the importance of AI's participation in OSAC events: “Effective and continual communication is critical for sustaining robust relationships between private security forces and the communities they serve. With operating offices in the U.S., Canada, Mexico and Central and South America, AI is a leading global force in security services. It is crucial that we participate in forums like the OSAC conferences so that we have a voice with the council on policy matters while sharing knowledge of consistent and evolving threats. Expanding our knowledge ensures that AI is prepared to confront the emerging threats that our clients face.”
About OSAC
The Overseas Security Advisory Council (OSAC) was created under the Federal Advisory Committee Act to promote security cooperation between American private sector interests worldwide and the U.S. Department of State. The OSAC "Council" is comprised of 34 private and public-sector member organizations that represent specific industries or agencies operating abroad. The member organizations designate representatives to serve on the OSAC Council to provide direction and guidance to develop programs that most benefit the U.S. private sector overseas. A primary goal of OSAC is to develop an effective security communication network, consequently, OSAC invites all U.S. businesses, academia, faith-based groups, and non-governmental organizations to become constituents. Today, over 3,500 U.S. companies, educational institutions, faith-based institutions, and non-governmental organizations with 16,000 users are OSAC constituents.
