Pine Brook, NJ (PRWEB) March 26, 2014 -- Diopsys, Inc. announces the launch of the new Diopsys® Report Viewer software for all Diopsys® NOVA-VEP and NOVA-ERG customers. The software and corresponding app allows ophthalmologists and optometrists to view Diopsys electrophysiology reports from anywhere in their office with a Wi-Fi connection. It even sends alerts to their iPad when new reports are available.
Demands placed on a doctor’s time are higher than ever. The new Diopsys® Report Viewer enables on-the-move viewing of Diopsys® vision tests with speed and efficiency. This helps streamline patient flow by alerting eye care professionals when a test has been completed so they can review the results before sitting down with the patient. The app also helps doctors multi-task by allowing them to switch back and forth between the Diopsys® Report Viewer and other work on their device.
Michael Harris, MD, Director of Livingston Eye Associates, LLC, says, “To be able to bring VEP and ERG reports up on my iPad and explain the results to the patient while we are sitting in the exam room is excellent. Also, for me to be able to sit at my desk and review studies on the iPad rather than having to stand at the device or print out the results is very helpful.”
Optimized for viewing on the iPad, the Diopsys® Report Viewer brings together all of the viewing tools needed to help the doctor make decisions from NOVA-VEP and NOVA-ERG reports. The app will connect directly to the Diopsys® NOVA patient database, so all test results – both old and new – are accessible from the app.
Customers will purchase special software for their Diopsys® NOVA device from the company, then download the Diopsys® Report Viewer from the iTunes App store free. To request more information, please visit http://www.diopsys.com/app.
