American Specialty Health Appoints Technology Leaders
San Diego, CA (PRWEB) September 07, 2016 -- American Specialty Health Incorporated (ASH) has appointed two new senior technology officers to lead its expanding IT services department. Ali Hussain was appointed associate vice president and head of user experience and design, and Enrico Bernardo was named associate vice president of software quality assurance.
Hussain comes to ASH with more than 17 years of achievement in user experience leadership and execution, building multidisciplinary UX teams and crafting positive user experiences that support business growth and customer delight. Prior to joining ASH, Hussain was senior vice president of global digital customer experience with Citibank, where he managed a digital experience team focused on maximizing customer engagement and satisfaction through emerging technologies. He also led the strategy and design of industry-leading apps for iOS and watchOS, making Citi the first bank on the Apple Watch.
From 2008 to 2011, Hussain was director of global user experience at Monster Worldwide, Inc., where he led the company’s transformation to next-generation online and mobile tools across Monster’s portfolio of websites, mobile and social apps spanning 38 countries and 19 languages.
Throughout his career Hussain has successfully built strategic partnerships with tech industry leaders like Apple, IBM, Salesforce, Samsung, Facebook and Microsoft to accelerate innovation. Hussain is a graduate of University of Massachusetts, Amherst, MA, where he studied Computer Science.
Associate Vice President Enrico Bernardo manages the ongoing development of Quality Assurance (QA) engineering principles and processes for ASH development teams. In addition, he supports the Information Services development teams, ensuring QA cross-functional strategies across all lines of business.
Bernardo has 19 years of experience in engineering and software QA. Prior to joining ASH, he was director of software QA for FICO, managing fraud banking solutions to help institutional customers stop credit fraud.
From 2005 to 2014, he worked for the Sony Network Entertainment and Sony Online Entertainment divisions, where he managed platform QA and configuration. While at Sony, he built and supervised the e-commerce platform supporting a variety of Sony devices including: Playstation®3, PlayStation®4, Sony Mobile, Televisions and Blu-ray players, providing millions of customers world-wide with the latest and highest-quality music, video and game content.
He is a graduate of UC San Diego, where he earned a B.S. in Biochemistry & Cell Biology and a minor in Music Technology.
