Antlers at Vail Hotel Announces Two New Colorado Outdoor Adventure Travel Packages
Vail, Colorado (PRWEB) July 28, 2016 -- Enjoy the best of outdoor Vail – while capturing the fun on a GoPro camera – with two new late summer outdoor adventure packages from Antlers at Vail hotel. From welcome mimosas in a guest suite with plenty of room to stretch out, to town bikes, yoga and a choice of guided hiking or fly fishing, the Antlers at Vail’s You Go(Pro) Girl getaway allows women to revel in Vail Valley’s beauty while hanging with their BFFs.
The Bikes, Brats and Beer “mancation” package changes up the formula with a careening bike ride down Vail Pass followed by tasty brats and a chilled brew. Both adventure travel packages include three nights at the Antlers and a plunging mountain zipline ride – and are available Aug. 15 – Sept. 30, 2016.
And while mantripping.com gave the Bikes, Brats and Beer experience a favorable nod, the value-priced lodging and activity package doesn’t have to be for men only “The package could work equally well for two couples – or four women,” says Antlers at Vail Assistant GM Magda King. “Or vice versa for the You Go(Pro) Girl trip. The Colorado adventure components are fun for everyone, as is grilling brats or sipping champagne.”
Both new Antlers at Vail packages take advantage of Colorado’s late summer sunny days and cool nights – perfect for enjoying Vail’s off-peak crowds and pricing. And guests can construct their getaways to suit their schedules, tastes and abilities, in keeping with Antlers at Vail’s famously pro-guest philosophy: “the answer is ‘yes,’ now what was the question?”
A sample itinerary for the You Go(Pro) Girl package might begin with a Thursday arrival, sipping mimosas from the sparkling wine and orange juice provided in the guest suite’s full kitchen – perhaps followed by a dip in Antlers’ year-round outdoor pool and hot tubs. Friday morning, start with a free yoga class, then enjoy a guided hike or fly fishing experience. Finish with a complimentary athletic club visit – try the sauna and cold plunge – before heading out to explore Vail’s renowned restaurants. Saturday, glide through mountain scenery on a zipline, then pedal through Lionshead on Antlers’ complimentary cruiser bicycles, exploring shops and the many outdoor patio drinking and dining opportunities.
The price for the four-day/three-night You Go(Pro) Girl Getaway is $386 per person based on four people in a two-bedroom condominium. The package includes a zipline ride from Zip Adventures at 4 Eagle Ranch in Wolcott, Colo., use of a GoPro camera and harness (one per group), complimentary passes to Vail Athletic Club, a half-day of hiking or fly-fishing guided by an experienced Antlers staff member, and mimosas (sparkling wine and orange juice) on arrival. Complimentary yoga class is available only on Friday mornings. Fly-fishing equipment and fishing license are not included.
The Bikes, Brats and Beer package is equally flexible and priced at $445 per person based on three nights in a two-bedroom condominium for four people. The adventure travel package includes a self-guided Vail Pass bike tour from Charter Sports (with bike rental, helmet, map and a shuttle to the top of the pass), a Zip Adventures zipline experience, and beer and bratwurst stocked in the condominium suite fridge.
Located away from the highway on the banks of Gore Creek – and just steps from the Eagle Bahn Gondola and Lionshead’s drinking and dining opportunities, Antlers at Vail is known for its long list of unusual complimentary guest amenities. Need a GoPro camera to record your adventures? Check. An espresso machine to start the morning? Check. A pass to Vail Athletic Club? Cruiser bike for tooling around town? All those and more are available for guests and can be worked into vacation fun.
Both the You Go(Pro) Girl and the Bikes, Brats and Beer packages are based on availability and can accommodate a different number of people/bedrooms on request (call for alternative pricing). Taxes are not included in rates, but as always, Antlers charges no resort fees.
