Artistic Scrapbook for Wine Experiences in ‘Wine Impressions’
KANSAS CITY, Mo. (PRWEB) November 22, 2014 -- Author and traveler Annie Kennedy’s three-year stay in Japan gave her a deep appreciation for the many art forms passed down through many generations. Kennedy had the opportunity to visit many temples and shrines and was introduced to a temple book called the Shoinchu, usually only known to the local Japanese. This book is a cherished collection of the many temples and memories created around her visits. Upon her return, Kennedy visited the many wineries in The Wine Country in Napa and Sonoma Valley and realized she wanted and needed some way to collect the memories of her winery visits.
The book “Wine Impressions” (published by Xlibris) was created to “Celebrate Life” and is the culmination of her many endeavors to artistically collect, record, recreate and display amazing experiences around wine. Kennedy wrote “Wine Impressions” to be a truly interactive book on wine, art, culture and “YOU.” Included is a map of Napa and Sonoma Valley from Winecountry.com, a list of red and white wines, a glossary and artistic pages for one to display wine labels.
“'Wine Impressions’ is a souvenir far more satisfying than a corkscrew, bottle stopper or even a wine journal,” says Kennedy, “A story waiting to be told….”
The author, Annie Kennedy, will celebrate the release of “Wine Impressions” in Miami with a book signing event on Nov. 23, 2014 from 2:30-4:30pm. Miami is known as the literary center of the world. With book lovers, writers, publishers and sellers gathering in numbers totaling in the hundreds of thousands, the Miami Book Fair International is widely recognized as the nation’s largest and finest literary event of its kind.
