ASMO to Build New Manufacturing Facility in Irapuato, Guanajuato, Mexico
Kosai, Japan (PRWEB) March 07, 2014 -- ASMO Co., Ltd. has announced it will build a new manufacturing facility in Irapuato, Guanajuato, Mexico. The new facility will help ASMO meet the growing needs of its North American customers who are ramping up their operations in the region. The plant will manufacture washer and wiper systems, power seat motors and power window motors. Construction is set to begin in September and production is scheduled to start in April 2016.

ASMO Mexico SA de CV will employ approximately 150 people initially and is expected to hire up to 500 employees by fiscal year 2020. Sales volumes are expected to reach more than US$90 million with an initial investment of US$47.2 million. ASMO Mexico SA de CV will be 22,700 square meters on approximately 100,000 square meters of land.
