ASRC Federal Employee Elected to ITU Radio Regulations Board
Beltsville, MD (PRWEB) November 18, 2014 -- Joanne Wilson, an ASRC Federal Research and Technology Solutions deputy program manager on the NASA Spectrum Management contract, was elected to the International Telecommunication Union Radio Regulations Board at the recently completed ITU Plenipotentiary Conference in Busan, Korea.
Wilson and 11 other board members from around the world will be tasked with setting and managing international radio spectrum policy and regulations for the next four years.

Wilson, an electrical engineer by trade with more than 27 years of professional experience in the telecommunications sector and more than 20 years of experience in the ITU radio communication sector, is the only Radio Regulations Board member from the United States and will represent the entire Americas region. Wilson will also continue to serve as a key adviser to NASA and represent the agency during various international conferences and meetings.
