ATV.com Undergoes Extensive Redesign
Toronto, Ontario (PRWEB) July 23, 2015 -- ATV.com, the most visited ATV and Side-by-Side website, has undergone a major redesign with the goal of improving the experience of our readers.
"I've been at the helm of ATV.com since Day 1 and this is the most excited I've been with the website since we first launched in 2008," says Lucas Cooney, ATV.com editor-in-chief. "The user experience has never been better and we plan to produce more content on a weekly basis so our readers always have something new and interesting to see."
Part of the improved user experience is a new focus on mobile users. ATV.com has been optimized for use on smart phones and tablets, allowing users to get the full ATV.com experience from anywhere on any device.
Another improvement is with content layout. Designers worked hard to better organize ATV.com's vast library of content so users can find what they're looking for more easily. Of note is the new Trails & Travel section, where visitors to ATV.com can read about the ride destinations the website's team of writers has explored across North America.
"We get to visit the most amazing riding areas in United States, Canada, and beyond," says Cooney. "Readers who want to plan an off-roading trip can now find our ride stories all in one place."
Wanting to take advantage of the amazing off-road photography that comes across the editor's desk, designers made changes to allow for larger images to be featured across the website.
One final change sure to please readers is the Disqus commenting system. Every article in the ATV.com library is now open to user comments, so readers can express their opinions on ATV and UTV reviews, news items, and more.
"We are thrilled to finally have the opportunity to talk to and interact with our readers on ATV.com," says Cooney. "We will be checking the comments regularly to see what our readers are saying, which will be a valuable tool when it comes to story ideas and future content."
