AuDConnex Welcomes Student Liaisons
Reno, Nevada (PRWEB) April 01, 2015 -- AuDConnex is pleased to announce the addition of two doctoral students to their team. Zach Zells and Trinity Azevedo both joined AuDConnex last month as student liaisons. Azevedo and Zells will be responsible for student outreach and development within the AuDConnex network.
“We are pleased to welcome them both to our AuDConnex family. It is really valuable to have future audiologists working with us, while networking with and educating fellow doctoral students about AuDConnex and its numerous partnership benefits,” explains Michael Iliff, founding member of AuDConnex, USA.
Azevedo is a 4th year doctoral extern at Nevada ENT and Silver State Hearing and Balance in Reno, Nevada. She is eager to play a guiding role in her peers’ future career plans. “I was thrilled when AuDConnex decided to branch out to the student population with this position and am looking forward to being a lifeline to AuD students in every graduate program. From deciding what setting to practice in to finding a 4th year externship,” says Azevedo. Azevedo will be receiving her Doctorate of Audiology degree from Arizona State University this May.
Zells is currently a 4th year doctoral extern at Colorado Hearing Specialists in Parker, Colorado. He’s excited to educate his peers outside of the classroom. “Business topics often take a back seat to diagnostics in graduate programs. While competency as a clinician is essential, generating interest in business is also critical in developing audiologists with an autonomous mindset,” says Zells. He will be receiving his Doctorate of Audiology degree from Wayne State University this May.
