Aumann Auctions Will Conduct Live Auction of Antique Stone Crocks and Collectibles
Rochester, Minnesota (PRWEB) June 04, 2016 -- This final event brings collectors’ chances to own unique pieces of history to a close. Aumann Auctions will sell the remaining portion of the late Gene Sander’s dairy and creamery collection during a two-day live auction in Rochester, Minnesota, June 10-11. Items include Red Wing antique crocks and other hard-to-find crocks, butter churns, water coolers, odd cream separators, signs, clocks, cans and collectibles.
Sander grew up on a farm then forged a career in the food science industry. He later owned a creamery, which fueled his passion for collecting anything creamery related. The Sander family is honored to share his unbelievable compilation with others.
“This is the largest selection of crocks and cream separators you will find in one place throughout the Midwest,” says auctioneer Mark Sypherd, CAI.
In addition to remaining Sander’s notable Red Wing Stoneware Co. pieces, this auction features a restored, belt driven Victor Combined Churn with cast iron base and wood frame. This is a rare and unique item that would be a prized piece for any collector’s array.
Aumann Auctions of Nokomis, Illinois, who conducted last year’s auction that sold the first half of the collection, will sell this portion at live auction with online simulcast bidding available for those who cannot attend in person. On Friday, June 10, preview starts at 9 a.m. Central with auction beginning at 11 a.m. On Saturday, June 11, the preview starts at 8 a.m. with the auction beginning at 10 a.m. Location of the auction is the Wood Lake Meeting Center, 210 Wood Lake Drive SE, Rochester, Minnesota.
