Automotive Child Safety Feature Invented (IPL-274)
PITTSBURGH (PRWEB) December 03, 2017 -- While automobile manufacturers prioritize safety features while the car is in motion, they have not been able to prevent harm to young children who are left behind in a parked vehicle. Fortunately, an inventor from Poland, Ind., has come up with an idea that will help in situations like this.
She developed a prototype for BABY CAR ALARM to improve automotive safety for infants and young children. As such, it alerts the driver that a child is still in the back seat after the vehicle is turned off and the door opened. It, therefore, has the potential to save the lives of children who might otherwise die from being left alone in locked cars. Furthermore, the system is easy to install and use besides being convenient, effective and affordably priced. It is also reliable, practical and designed to last. In addition, its simple design keeps production costs to a minimum.
The inventor’s personal observations inspired the idea. “It is such a sad commentary that so many children are left behind in locked motor vehicles, particularly in extremely hot weather to suffer horrible deaths,” she said. “I wanted to find some way to save children from this fate.”
The original design was submitted to the Indianapolis office of InventHelp. It is currently patent pending and available for licensing or sale to manufacturers or marketers.
