Award-Winning Service Manager Joins J.W. Pierson Company

Paul comes to the Pierson company with decades of experience and a sackful of honors and awards. Most recently, in 2013, he was the recipient of the Hugh McKee award, which is given to those “making an outstanding contribution to the fuel oil industry; having an understanding and cooperation with his/her fellowman; and having unselfishly aided the industry in education and related activities.”
Paul holds Silver and Gold Technicians’ certificates, and in addition he is a Master Electrician. “The tools and the machines have become more complex,” said Cuprewich ,“But honesty is the most important tool we have: Honesty between management and technicians, and honesty between the company and the customer. It’s the foundation of the trade.”

Cuprewich has a long history for improving customer service. As an advisor and former president to the Garden State Chapter of the Oil and Service Professionals on education, he was instrumental in ensuring that the members were informed on the latest trends and technical information in the industry.
