SAN DIEGO (PRWEB) August 03, 2013 -- Today at 10 a.m., families will delight in the sunshine, sand, and smell of new hardwood floors at Del Sur. The San Diego new home community, located just north of Rancho Santa Fe in San Diego, is throwing a new home beach party - Del Sur style.
During the event, the public is invited to tour brand new estate-style model homes at Marston by Standard Pacific Homes. Within walking distance of Marston will be a sand zone where award-winning team Archisand will sculpt Del Sur Sand Homes (sandcastles) from 50 tons of sand. The team will build replicas of Del Sur’s newest model homes, as well as a replica of the community’s final school underway: Poway Unified School District’s Design 39 Campus.
“Today, we’re not only excited to showcase Marston and other home designs new to Del Sur; we’re also excited to share Del Sur’s unmatched community spirit,” said Bill Ostrem, president of Black Mountain Ranch. “Sandcastle fun and model home tours will give folks a taste of the enjoyable, well-rounded community that we’ve established.”
The beach party will include a sandcastle zone, a sampling of summertime music, food and drinks, and model homes tours at the following model locations:
Marston by Standard Pacific Homes. At Marston, guests can enjoy the sand zone, summertime tunes from Mango Bay Band, and surf-style cuisine from Epic Eatz. Starting at 10 a.m., guests can tour Standard Pacific Homes’ Marston neighborhood for the first time. The estate-caliber homes come in three floor plan designs ranging from 3,929 - 4,658 square feet with up to five bedrooms and 5.5 bathrooms.
Priced from the low $1,000,000s, the luxury homes include expansive living spaces, stylish interior features and beautiful views of the surrounding coastal hills. Marston also boasts a wonderful location within Del Sur, walking distance to parks, pools, trails and Del Sur Elementary School.
Marston joins three other new Del Sur neighborhoods that opened this summer: Hawthorne and Carrillo by Standard Pacific Homes, and Brookfield Sentinels by Brookfield Residential.
Hawthorne by Standard Pacific Homes. Down the street from Marston, Hawthorne offers three distinct floor plans ranging from 2,600 to 2,955 square feet with four to five bedrooms and three baths. The charming collection of single-family homes gains inspiration from San Juan, California Bungalow and Spanish architectural styles.
Priced from the mid $700,000s, residences at Hawthorne also include a spacious great room, gourmet kitchen, designated dining room, and an efficient laundry room with a Contain It closet. The first floor rooms are oriented toward the Del Sur Room, a spacious, covered patio that connects indoor-outdoor living.
Carrillo by Standard Pacific Homes. Carrillo is comprised of 52 detached homes tucked in the coastal hills of Del Sur, and neighboring Marston and Hawthorne. Carrillo offers three different two-story home designs ranging from approximately 2,483 to 2,997 square feet with four bedrooms and three baths. Two of the floor plan designs include bonus rooms. In addition, optional flex space provides opportunities for a home office or game room.
Priced from the low $700,000s, homes at Carrillo are inspired by California Bungalow, Italian Revival, Mediterranean Farmhouse, Rustic Cottage and Spanish Colonial home styles.
Brookfield Sentinels by Brookfield Residential. At Brookfield Sentinels, beach party guests can enjoy ice cream from Sweet Treats food truck, followed by tours of Brookfield Sentinels’ elegant one- and two-story floor plan designs. The Mediterranean-inspired, 51-home neighborhood includes three different floor plan styles ranging from 2,784 to 3,388 square feet, with three to four bedrooms, 2.5 to 4.5 baths and two-car oversized garages with storage space.
Priced from the $900,000s, the luxury residences also include open courtyard space, playing to an indoor-outdoor lifestyle and taking advantage of surrounding mountain views and open space.
