Bill Ho Appointed New CEO of Biscom
Chelmsford, MA (PRWEB) February 05, 2015 -- Biscom, an enterprise software company focused on secure document delivery, has announced the appointment of Bill Ho as Biscom’s new CEO. Former CEO Donald Dunning is staying on as COO and will remain focused on internal operations and day-to-day company initiatives.
Mr. Ho joined Biscom twelve years ago as VP of Internet Products where he helped introduce Biscom’s Secure File Transfer solution in 2005, as well as Verosync, a file synchronization and sharing solution designed for enterprises, in 2014. Mr. Ho has also led the sales and marketing teams as President of the company since 2011.
“I suggested naming Bill as CEO because I believe he will continue providing mission critical high volume fax and document delivery services to our customers and will also be able to expand our market penetration with our newer secure delivery solutions through existing and new distribution channels,” said Mr. Dunning.
Biscom is also announcing the promotions of John Lane to Chief Information Security Officer and Charles Magliato to VP of Channel Development. Mr. Lane has been with Biscom for 19 years leading customer support and datacenter operations. Mr. Magliato has been with Biscom for six years focusing on business development, partnerships, and vertical markets.
“This is an exciting time for Biscom. Don has been instrumental in achieving our current level of success. As we see an increasing demand for better ways to securely share information and files, we expect to see significant growth in our secure fax and document delivery solutions as well,” said Mr. Ho.
Mr. Ho earned his BS in Computer Science from Stanford, MS in Computer Science from Harvard, and MBA from MIT Sloan School of Management. Prior to Biscom, Mr. Ho founded vVault, a cloud-based document management start-up in San Francisco, and held product development positions at CNET and Oracle.
