Boat Ed Partners With the LV Project to Promote Life Jacket Awareness
Dallas, TX (PRWEB) July 03, 2015 -- In 2014, 84% of boat-related drowning victims weren’t wearing a life jacket, according to the U.S. Coast Guard. There were 418 drowning deaths last year, which leaves 351 lives that could have been saved, if only they had been wearing a USCG-approved life jacket.
Boat Ed values safety and strives to shine a light on life-threatening issues on the water. That’s why Boat Ed has partnered with the LV Project to encourage boaters to “be buoyant” and wear their life jackets this Fourth of July weekend and beyond.
Please help spread this safety message by sharing the video above. Drownings are preventable and every life is worth saving.
