West Des Moines, Iowa (PRWEB) February 19, 2016 -- Businessolver, a leading benefits administration technology company, today announced the launch of the Businessolver Foundation. In alignment with its mission to do things the right way, the company is creating rigor and process around its philanthropic activity and creating a culture of giving, with a defined focus on the creation of a healthy, well-educated world where community matters.
The Businessolver Foundation will provide meaningful experiences for its employees and clients nationwide, allowing them unique opportunities to amplify their impact in their communities. Through its work and member participation, the Foundation will support local and national charities such as Habitat for Humanity, Make-A-Wish Foundation, Ronald McDonald House and Susan G. Komen among others.
Internally, the Businessolver Foundation will create a $25,000 scholarship fund that will be awarded to employee dependents enrolling in college or a trade program in the fall. Businessolver will also host quarterly campaigns focused on connecting employees to specific causes and heightening their organizational awareness.
"I'm honored to lead the Businessolver Foundation and continue the philanthropic work, community outreach and generous giving achieved to date," said Businessolver Foundation Senior Vice President Brooke Knight. "This charitable arm of the company will be laying the foundation to make a difference in the world by investing in causes that will support the health of individuals, communities and bridge the education gap where it's most needed."
In her role, Knight will continue the company's efforts to build a culture of giving. Also leading the development of the Businessolver Foundation is Kirsten Anderson, who will serve as the Community Relations and Charitable Foundation Manager and help lead the charge in establishing unique employee giving experiences.
