CareOne Exhibits Commitment to Fitness with "Thriving Over 60" Event
Paramus, New Jersey (PRWEB) September 13, 2017 -- CareOne, a premier family-owned healthcare company with more than 31 centers in New Jersey, will continue its commitment to the health and well-being of its residents with its “Thriving Over 60” event on September 14 at CareOne at the Cupola in Paramus. Starting at 6:00 p.m., the CareOne team will welcome special guest Dana Cavalea, former Director of Strength and Conditioning & Performance for The New York Yankees, to speak to CareOne residents about the importance of continued movement, strength training, and fitness to their overall health and well-being.
The “Thriving Over 60” event is an extension of CareOne’s Forever Fit program. This unique strength training program offered at the organization’s Paramus location features fitness programs that aim to improve strength and flexibility, increase bone density and mass, lower body fat, reduce resting blood pressure, reduce arthritic pain and more. The expansive fitness facility at CareOne at the Cupola offers programming twice a week for residents in a comfortable group setting. Personalized, one-on-one sessions are also made available to the community, with initial assessments conducted to meet each resident’s individual needs and goals. Weekly and monthly evaluations to track progress are then integrated into CareOne residents’ fitness plans.
The progressive Forever Fit program, and events like “Thriving Over 60,” exemplify CareOne’s commitment to fitness and personalized strength training for older adults. The organization is excited to welcome a guest speaker like Dana Cavalea who spent 12 years with the New York Yankees Organization, including their World Series-winning year in 2009. Cavalea is a consultant to pro athletes, entrepreneurs, business executives, workforces and universities on lifestyle strategies to reduce stress, improve work-life balance, and most importantly improve daily performance and outcomes. He will offer his extensive knowledge and experience in the health and wellness to “Thriving Over 60” attendees.
