CBT News is Now CBT Automotive Network
Atlanta, GA (PRWEB) November 11, 2014 -- Jim Fitzpatrick, president and founder of CBT News announced today that the automotive news organization will now be known as CBT Automotive Network.
“The change is in line with what we are accomplishing in the retail automotive media space,” said Fitzpatrick. CBT News was launched in late 2012 as a website with a daily newscast devoted 100 percent to franchised auto dealers. “The incredible growth we’ve experienced is a reflection of how the industry has accepted and embraced what we are doing here.”
More than 90,000 subscribers currently enjoy the daily newscasts delivered directly to their inboxes, and now they have access to even more news, information, training tips and in-depth interviews with top executives in the retail automotive industry.
Along with the name change, CBT Automotive Network is adding several new programs to its lineup to further enhance its goal to help auto dealers and their management run more successful businesses.
“We are introducing a full lineup of programs that address each area of dealership operations,” said Fitzpatrick. Additions to the lineup include F&I Today with Russell Brown, Auto Marketing Now with Brian Pasch and Service Drive with Jeff Cowan. These new shows will round out the programming that includes the daily newscast CBT News, Saturday Morning Sales Meeting, Daily Tune Up, View from the Top and On Location. In addition to the extensive online programming, CBT Automotive Network publishes a monthly print magazine, Car Biz Today, which is delivered to more than 17,000 franchised new car dealers across North America.
The news organization also announced that Danielle Banks, formerly with The Weather Channel, has joined the CBT News team. Joining Russell Brown and Bridget Everett as co-anchor and reporter for CBT Automotive Network, Danielle will be hosting segments, conducting in-depth interviews, reporting from dealerships and covering top events in the automotive industry.
