Cerebral Success’s SmartX to Hit GNC Shelves
Provo, UT (PRWEB) October 22, 2014 -- The release of SmartX in GNC stores nationwide also coincides with the release of a study that Cerebral Success has been conducting on its featured brain-health supplement. Results of the study will also be published on November 1, demonstrating the effectiveness of its product. Preliminary results show SmartX increases processing speed by 12 percent, memory recall by 13 percent and alpha brain waves (associated with focus) by 55 percent after seven days.
Businesswoman Barbara Corcoran’s mentorship has made SmartX’s arrival in GNC possible. She invested $75,000 in the company after hearing founder, Trevor Hiltbrand, pitch it on ABC’s Shark Tank on April 25.
“I saw young Trevor for who he was — a kid who knew the prevalence and danger of college kids popping un-prescribed Adderall pills to get them through their exams. And he had a solution,” Corcoran wrote in an article posted on LinkedIn, titled “Spotting a Winner on Shark Tank.”
Hiltbrand established Cerebral Success in 2011, blending together safe study-aid alternative ingredients like B-vitamins, bacopa, Cognizin®, huperzine A, DHA and others in the SmartX formula.
He created the formula with the help of industry experts to target focus, memory, mental energy and overall brain health.
Hiltbrand made $60,000 before appearing on ABC’s Shark Tank, but online sales quadrupled the night the episode aired.
“Shark Tank was an intense and incredible experience. I learned a ton that has helped my business immensely,” Hiltbrand said.
SmartX’s arrival in GNC marks its first entry into a traditional retail store. Cerebral Success previously only sold its products on Amazon.com and on http://CerebralSuccess.com.
