1. Items found by staff are easily entered into a hotels account within Chargerback and guests can easily self-report lost items and their contact information, through the free, customized report link provided by Chargerback, located on the hotel website.
2. Lost and found items are matched in the hotels Chargerback database; hotel staff initiates the system to notify the guest that their item has been recovered.
3. The guest then pays for shipment through a PCI Compliant payment module, the hotel is automatically notified and prints a prepaid shipping label through Chargerback’s Partnership with the USPS. A tracking number and link is then sent automatically by the Chargerback system to the guest.
4. Chargerback can send guest notifications to provide the hotel more information about their lost items, or to inform a guest their item could not be found. Full chain of custody and a suite of reports are also provided to the hotel.
