Christie Medical Christie to display VeinViewer at 2018 AAD Meeting
MEMPHIS, Tenn. (PRWEB) February 15, 2018 -- Christie® Medical Holdings, the leader in near-infrared vein finding technology, will be displaying VeinViewer® at the 2018 American Academy of Dermatology Annual Meeting from February 16-20 at the San Diego Convention Center in California in booth No. 4930. Attendees will learn how they can take their practice to the next level with VeinViewer, the only high definition vein visualization technology. Conference participants are invited to in-booth demonstrations of the VeinViewer Vision2 and VeinViewer Flex to see how they can improve targeting for cosmetic procedures and potentially reduce complications.
VeinViewer uses near infrared (NIR) light to detect superficial veins by projecting the vein pattern directly onto the skin in real-time. Clinicians are easily able to identify and avoid vessels, including veins that are commonly clustered around the eyes, when performing cosmetic injections. VeinViewer can see peripheral veins up to 10mm deep and blood patterns up to 15mm deep, making VeinViewer ideal for assisting with injectable procedures. Additionally, VeinViewer has been shown to help with target mapping for vein treatment procedures, such as sclerotherapy, through identification of the deeper feeder vein for effective treatment of spider telangiectasia.
“Attendees to AAD will see how VeinViewer can improve the patient experience and comfort,” says George Pinho, president, Christie Medical Holdings. “By easily identifying vessels, VeinViewer can help circumvent potential complications and help promote better patient outcomes.”
