Cigar Advisor Publishes Cigars 101 Piece on Burn Issues
Easton, PA (PRWEB) July 11, 2013 -- The all-new Cigar Advisor is an online cigar magazine that brings a fresh, irreverent, and down-to-earth perspective on all things cigars to thousands of smokers. In addition to educational cigar content and behind-the-scenes cigar industry articles from some of the business’s top names, Cigar Advisor delivers an array of content about a variety of topics of interest to people who enjoy the cigar lifestyle. The magazine also features cigar reviews and ratings submitted by real smokers. Cigar Advisor has just published a new article to its Cigars 101 section, entitled "Burn Issues."
Written as an instructional article, Cigar Advisor Executive Editor Lou Tenney provides background information on the different kinds of burn issues cigar smokers encounter while smoking cigars, what causes them, and how to repair or avoid them altogether in his Cigars 101 piece, “Burn Issues.”
"I was excited to write this piece, because we are constantly getting questions from customers about why their cigars aren't performing as expected," Tenney said. He continued: "Usually, we end up finding out that the customer is either over-humidifying their cigars, or smoking them entirely too fast. Nothing will ruin a good smoke faster than improper storage or cigar smoking technique."
In the article, Tenney explains that there are also other reasons that cigars may not burn correctly, which usually have to do with construction issues, especially "an incorrect bunch," or "a small pocket or void [under the wrapper] where there is no tobacco."
In the end Tenney advises, "If you consistently find that your cigars are burning unevenly or are bitter, odds are you're over-smoking. Smoking too fast causes bitter flavors and tar buildup, not to mention incomplete combustion of the tobaccos. For best results, smoke slowly...your cigars will thank you."
