Cincinnati Process Technologies Expanding Lines, Facilities to Better Service Plastics Processors
Cincinnati, OH (PRWEB) August 30, 2013 -- Cincinnati Process Technologies (CPT), a leading supplier of machinery, parts, services and technology for the plastics molding industry, has spent the last four months growing its business and expanding its facilities in order to capture more market share and enter new territories. According to Sales Manager Dane Bales, the multi-discipline product and service company has a plan in place that should add at least 20 percent to its sales in 2014. “We’ve been growing at a steady pace since our founding in 2009, but we are now taking specific actions to ensure that growth,” said Bales. These efforts include the addition of new products such as Asian Plastic Machinery, energy saving injection molding machines and WETEC’s line of robotics and automation equipment.
CPT recently added a Midwest account manager, Scott Drake based in Chicago, and is building a network of independent sales representatives throughout the country to open up new markets. “We’ve been operating primarily in the Midwest since our inception,” said Bales, “but we want to expand into other regions where there is a need for our unique mix of products and services.”
CPT is becoming known as a total solution service company for the plastics processing industry, offering new injection molding equipment, automation and robotics; new, used and remanufactured parts; control system retrofits; total machine repair services and calibration; and energy management systems. All are geared to reduce costs and improve manufacturing efficiencies.
This spring the company expanded its offices, repair and manufacturing facilities in Cincinnati to better serve customers. In their short four years the company continues to add to their engineering and service personnel. Service capabilities continue to expand covering several models of injection molding machines and offering remote diagnostic capabilities through the control retrofit systems offered by CPT.
In March, CPT contracted with a marketing agency to improve awareness within the plastics industry and drive lead generation. “We have made the investment to refine our messages, develop and execute communication campaigns and measure outcomes,” said Bales.
Though only several months into its new fiscal year, the three-prong efforts of new products, a focused marketing strategy and a wider sales area are already paying off. “We have gained new customers and are opening dialogue with many more,” said Bales. “As we gain critical mass, we expect our growth to continue.”
CPT will be exhibiting in booth 1755 at this year’s PLASTEC Midwest tradeshow, September 10-12 in Chicago.
