CipherLab Showcases Its Rugged RF Gun Scanner for Automotive Manufacturer at 2014 Southern Automotive Conference, Booth# 823, from October 8-10, 2014
Plano, TX (PRWEB) October 08, 2014 -- CipherLab USA, a global leader in the design, manufacture, and marketing of Automatic Identification and Data Capture/Collection products and systems, will showcase its RF Gun Scanners in 2014 Southern Automotive Conference at Birmingham-Jefferson Convention Complex, Birmingham, Alabama, October 8-10, 2014, Booth# 823. CipherLab will have the rugged and robust 9700 series industrial mobile computer for manufacturing and warehouse on display.
CipherLab’s 9700 Series RF Gun is a device with multiple tools in its scanning repertoire. It versatility includes laser, 2D imager, extended range laser and near/far 2D imager. The extended long-range laser (LORAX) lengthens the barcode reading range to an amazing 45 ft. on a 100 mil. label. Additionally, the near/far scanning technology is built-in for supreme scanning versatility in reading both long and short distances. It gives flexibility to read both 1 and 2D barcodes from as close as 6 in. on 10 mil. barcodes to over a whopping 50 ft. for 100 mil symbols.
“There is clear demand from automakers to use RF Gun in manufacturing flow control and warehouse management, and the inquiry on replacing current RF Gun with a low cost and better quality one is emerging.” said Luis Wu, Vice President and General Manager, CipherLab USA. “CipherLab’s 9700 series Industrial Mobile Computer will save the cost on replacing and purchasing new RF Guns. Moreover, the powerful computing processor, reliable RF connection and robust barcode reading capability are not sacrificed.”
CipherLab’s 9700 series industrial mobile computer has raised the bar for mobile computer operations. It offers 3 different keypads for manufacturing and warehouse applications. The 9700 series provides users with 2 numeric keypads with 4 or 10 function keys to work with. In addition, a 53 alphanumeric keypad with 20 function keys is available for an alternative for terminal emulation of the VT220/TN3270/TN5250 systems. A 3.5” QVGA display is equipped to make reading and operation easier. Top it off with stable wireless communication such as CCXv4 certified IEEE 820.11 a/b/g/n, the 9700 series provides features that make operation quicker and simpler.
