Boulder, CO (PRWEB) September 30, 2013 -- Eldorado Climbing Walls, the expert in rock climbing wall design and construction, announced today three new community outreach efforts that will take place during the month of October. The climbing wall supplier will be involved with: The Denver Police Activities League (DPAL), Ironman World Championships, and those affected by the September Colorado Floods in Boulder County.
Eldorado Climbing Walls will be installing a Gecko Modular Climbing Wall for the Denver Police Athletic League (DPAL). CEO Jerad Wells will be volunteering his time and effort to help build a challenging climbing wall program for the DPAL. Once the program is established, Eldorado Climbing Walls will be organizing a team of company employees to volunteer their time outside the office to help with these programs.
Maleigh Hill, sales coordinator at Eldorado Climbing Walls, competed in the Ironman Texas competition last spring where she placed first in her age group and has been extended an invitation to compete at the Ironman World Championships in Kona on October 12, 2013. A large part of Marleigh’s athletic career has included philanthropic efforts such as running races for non-profits and volunteering time to teach youth and adult triathlon clinics. The climbing wall company, Eldo Walls, is proud to sponsor Marleigh in her quest to compete in the World Championship race and is thrilled to have such a talented and motivated athlete as part of the Eldorado Climbing Walls Team.
Eldorado Climbing Walls will also be donating to Longmont’s Outreach United Resource Center to help those affected by the recent flooding disaster in Boulder County. The company has put together an in-office drive to collect non perishable items that are urgently needed, such as baby food, diapers, canned food, toiletries, and bottled water. These efforts have been spearheaded by office manager Debra Patterson, and the drive has seen many company-wide contributions.
“Our company believes in giving back to the community, and we strive to participate in service projects in which our employees can take an active role,” notes Jerad Wells, CEO of Eldorado Climbing Walls. He continues, “I am very proud that our team has come together to donate their time and goods to such worthy causes. The Company and our people have benefited significantly from the relationships established with each other and members of the community as they volunteer in various initiatives.”
