Clovernook Country Club Rallies for a Cure Against Breast Cancer
Cincinnati, OH (PRWEB) May 23, 2014 -- Members and guests of Clovernook Country Club will once again come together on Sunday, June 1st to support breast cancer awareness at the 12th Annual Rally for a Cure Golf Outing. Already sold out, this year’s tournament is projected to be the highest grossing tournament in the partnership, which has spanned more than a decade.
This annual event has grown each year and gained tremendous support from the Clovernook Country Club membership and the local community. The Rally for a Cure Golf Outing event raised more than $22,000 last year to benefit breast cancer research, bringing the 11-year total for this event to over $120,000. The proceeds benefit the Susan G. Komen Affiliate of Greater Cincinnati and The Pink Ribbon Girls of Cincinnati. These organizations help increase awareness and research in Cincinnati and give a voice to those whose lives have been affected by this disease.
Established in 1923, Clovernook Country Club is celebrating over 90 years as Cincinnati’s most family friendly private country club. Characterized by large undulating greens and manicured fairways, Clovernook is a classic private golf course and a true test for golfers of every skill level. In addition to championship golf, Clovernook offers tennis courts, outdoor swimming pools, and a pristine clubhouse with an active social schedule and the area’s best dining experience.
