Color Me Rad Brightens Cities Worldwide
Salt Lake City, UT (PRWEB) April 27, 2016 -- With retro swag, vibrant color, wacky challenges and a new Slime Station, Color Me Rad 5K, wholly owned by Sack Lunch Productions (OTC:SAKL), is embracing the 90s’ like never before. The colorful 5K turned 90s’ throwback has already stopped in seven locations this spring and has another sixty-five events confirmed for summer and fall worldwide.
“2016 is sure to be our best year yet!” said Color Me Rad event director Trevor White. “We are excited about the cities on our schedule and can’t wait to share the fun with rad runners all over the world.”
Thirty-nine races in the US and Canada are now open for registration and more than 100,000 rad runners have already signed up for 2016 events. Organizers expect over 200,000 athletes and non-athletes to participate in the 5K this year. Upcoming events include: Boston, Philadelphia, Knoxville, Detroit, Salt Lake City, San Diego, Toronto and Calgary. Event organizers are thrilled by the participant response to new additions at this colorful event.
“Color Me Rad is so much more than a 5K,” said Color Me Rad spokeswoman Amy Gessel. “It’s a place to make memories with family and friends, and this year brings nostalgia of a decade that should never be forgotten.“
With their packets, multi-colored racers receive a retro t-shirt and a splashable Goo Guard for smartphones. After they have tackled color stations and challenges reminiscent of children’s game shows of the 90s’, participants will join the finish festival. At this one of a kind celebration participants can enjoy food, music, color throws and, of course, the Slime Station.
