CONTEC DTx Celebrates 25 Years of Innovative Technology Solutions for OEMs
Melbourne, FL (PRWEB) July 21, 2016 -- CONTEC DTx, Inc. (DTx), a global leader in technology systems integration, this year celebrates its 25th anniversary. In 1991 co-founders Art Schmitt and Gene Garofalo recognized a need in the manufacturing community for consistent, reliable embedded computing technology and specialized services to support OEMs with complete end-to-end technology solutions. Over the course of the last 25 years, they made that vision a reality. DTx has supported some of the world’s leading manufacturers including 7 of the top 10 largest medical device manufacturers in addition to 5 Fortune 100 and 5 Fortune 500 OEMs in a variety of other industries including industrial automation, food processing, and homeland security. The company closed-out 2015 with revenues at an all-time high and is on pace in 2016 for another record breaking year.
General Manager, Dan Butler, attributes DTx’s ongoing success to the hard work and dedication of its employees. “It’s really all about the people and it’s been that way since we first began and there were only 3 of us,” reflected Butler. “Our team is passionate about what they do and motivated by prioritizing the customer above all else – holding themselves accountable to the highest levels of quality and innovation.”
Today, CONTEC DTx is leveraging its experience and that of its corporate family which includes Contec Co., Ltd and Daifuku, world leaders for over 80 years in industrial technology and material handling, to help manufacturers modernize their factory operations to become more efficient using IoT and machine-to-machine technology. CONTEC DTx’s mission goes beyond installing products, it encompasses planned implementation so that systems and subsystems operate in harmony to deliver accuracy. The advancements can yield increased efficiency, improved product quality, lower operating costs, and decreased downtime as equipment can predict and prevent maintenance issues before they arise.
“We've got some great opportunities in front of us,” said Butler. “Technology is changing at a rapid pace, our customers are excited about doing new and different things, and we've got a lot of innovation and innovative ideas that we can bring to the table to build the next 25 years. We are looking forward to a bright future.”
