Convert XPS to JPG with New 2JPEG Command Line Tool
Alexandria, VA (PRWEB) December 17, 2014 -- IT professionals are most likely to appreciate the newest version of the command line tool 2JPEG. It can convert PDF to JPG, quickly resize image files, place watermark on photos, change the quality of the JPG files, create thumbnails and work according to a specific scheduled time.
The newest version of 2JPEG allows conversion from XPS to JPG via the command line.
By default, 2JPEG converts PDF and XPS to JPG image files with resolution of 200 DPI. To change the output JPG file resolution, just use "Rasterize" option. For example:
2jpeg.exe -src "C:\In\*.xps" -dst "C:\Out" -oper Rasterize res:600
The default JPG file quality value made by 2JPEG is 85. Changing this parameter in most cases will reduce the size of the JPG file without noticeable loss of the image quality. Here is an example of the command line used to change the file quality for 75:
2jpeg.exe -src "C:\In\*.xps" -dst "C:\Out" -jpeg quality:75
JPEG can apply several extra operations onto the files, and they all can take place during the same command line session. Here is the example of the command line that will automatically crop the empty borders of the document, will resize each page up to 1300 pixels wide, will smooth noise and will overwrite the existing JPG image if it already exists:
2jpeg.exe -src "C:\In\*.xps" -dst "C:\out" -oper Crop method:autocrop -oper Resize size:"1300 0" -oper Smoothingnoise -options overwrite:yes
