Court Reporting Firm Steno Services LLC Announces “GoGreen” Initiative
(PRWEB) September 02, 2016 -- Court Reporting Firm Steno Services LLC, based in Oklahoma, has announced a series of new green initiatives to make use of technological advances and minimize the impact on the environment. A new policy was implemented this summer that allows attorneys requesting Court Reporting services to order their transcripts and exhibits with “Email Delivery Only” to eliminate shipping charges and receive a $5 “GoGreen” discount.
Firm manager Ginger Baze sees the benefits of technology when it comes to how court reporting services can be done today and has implemented several programs to help broaden the reach of their globally aware and technologically advanced firm.
Steno Services LLC looks forward to how technological advances will help attorneys and court reporters manage things more effectively and efficiently. Baze has already seen the benefits of using tools such as Remote Realtime and Electronic Exhibits. Steno Services LLC recently began working with LiveLitigation, formerly known as LiveDeposition, and is utilizing their full suite of services. Remote Realtime allows any reporter working with the firm the ability to log on and conduct remote depositions for out-of-town or out-of-state attorneys. This allows individuals to save time and money, reducing the impact on the environment from travel, while still receiving the same quality and experience provided by a knowledgeable court reporter for a very reasonable price.
Attorneys can attend a deposition from miles or even states away with Remote Deposition. The web-based program allows for two-way viewing while questioning a witness or one-way viewing for experts observing the testimony. Files are introduced, marked up, and admitted using the Electronic Exhibits feature for even further paperless litigation. Attorneys can also privately converse with experts, paralegals, or partners while the deposition is happening via private chat groups.
Although the court reporting firm’s clients, including attorneys who need to conduct depositions from other locations, will certainly benefit from these green initiatives and advanced technology offerings, employees in the firm can reap the rewards, too.
Steno Services LLC has begun using RingCentral as their communications company. Since it is VoIP, when the firm’s phone rings, that call goes directly to an Internet protocol desk phone, computer software, even iPhones or iPads, connecting employees with clients and customers at all times. With each employee being given their own extension, court reporters working with Steno Services LLC get all the benefits of telecommuting while still being able to serve client needs promptly and accurately.
Ginger Baze looks forward to expanding these digital and green initiatives as the company grows and expands. This allows Steno Services LLC to provide necessary services to clients without sacrificing quality, all the while attracting experienced and talented court reporters, too.
