CHATTANOOGA, Tenn. (PRWEB) January 08, 2018 -- Skuid, the leading cloud application platform, today announced that truckload carrier Covenant Transport selected Skuid to streamline and improve its sales and marketing process. Using Skuid’s no-code platform, Covenant Transport will benefit from efficiency, an enhanced end-user experience, and a single user interface to uncover valuable business opportunities.
Over the years, Covenant Transport accumulated and saved critical information across multiple platforms beyond its customer relationship management (CRM) software. This meant that employees needed to access several applications to gain a 360-degree view of the organization—whether it was for customer information, sales forecasts, or other business-critical data. Covenant Transport needed a more efficient and less frustrating approach for its users.
“As we've grown as a company and brought new team members on board, we've seen a need for easy-to-use, easy-to-teach one-stop software,” said Tyson Wimberly, senior vice president of sales at Covenant Transport Services. “Our team was tremendously excited with the demos, proof-of-concept and service from Skuid, and we’re confident that Skuid will deliver tangible benefits not only to our sales and marketing teams, but to the entire organization.”
Covenant Transport plans to begin its Skuid deployment in January. Phase one of the deployment will consist of rearranging data in their current CRM system, as well as pulling in back-end reports for sales. The company’s sales and marketing departments will be the first to start using Skuid, with plans to roll it out to the other departments and companies in the future.
“Any company that experiences application sprawl will naturally have their efficiency capped far below their ultimate potential,” said Skuid CEO Ken McElrath. “Businesses of all sizes need customized applications to grant them better visibility into business insights. With Skuid, Covenant Transport will be able to consolidate its CRM with other apps and data into a robust, user-friendly, ‘single pane of glass,’ without the need to write any code.”
About Skuid
Skuid was founded in 2013 on the simple belief that enterprise software should stop forcing people to behave like machines. Instead, apps should behave more like the humans who use them, so everyone can thrive in the digital world. With Skuid’s simple-to-use but incredibly robust cloud front-end design-and-deploy platform, anyone can connect to disparate data sources, assemble highly complex, made-to-order applications, and instantly make changes—all without writing code. More than 5 million users across 35 countries use Skuid to engage with each other, with data, and with new customers in meaningful ways.
