Critical Response Systems Receives Third Patent
Norcross, GA (PRWEB) December 12, 2013 -- Critical Response Systems (CRS), a provider of leading-edge, mission-critical communication systems, announces the award of U.S. Pat. No. 8,588,207, Method and Apparatus for Efficient and Deterministic Group Alerting.
CRS technology alerts first responders and clinical staff, and then notifies incident command and middleware as personnel read and respond to each event. This new patent covers CRS’s ability to perform deterministic dispatch and alerting via cell phones and smartphones (e.g., that may use SMS as well as LTE data). The patent also covers transmission of messages and responses using heterogeneous technologies.
“We are very pleased that the U.S. Patent Office has again recognized our unique and novel messaging technology,” commented Brian Claise, Chief Technology Officer at Critical Response Systems. “This new patent further strengthens our position and enables us to accelerate research and development to further improve hospital and public safety alerting.”
